We are thrilled to announce that our Unite Scholars’ video, featuring our scholar, actor & environmental activist Luther Kavishe, WON the social media prize in the Planet 911 film challenge for Earth Day 2020.
Planet 911, a Global Initiative of Creative Visions and EarthXfilms, is an international call to action to youth across the world using film, arts, music and media as a way to protect the future of the planet. Planet 991engages over 20 million youth globally in creative activism. This year, our Unite Scholars’ film won one of three grand prize awards that includes a $1,000 cash prize that will be used to grow our tree planting campaign to reforest and replenish degraded lands in Tanzania.
